Lawrence Tan

Throughout his years of experience, Lawrence has advised and assisted clients in prosecution of trademarks, patents, designs, and copyright in Malaysia and overseas. He also advised clients on infringement of Intellectual Property, opposition proceedings and passing-off.

Lawrence now practices in IP advisory matters. Before this, he has appeared in the High Court of Malaya and the Court of Appeal to handle trademarks and patents infringement matters, and also conducted raids against counterfeit products in collaboration with the Enforcement Units of the Ministry of Domestic Trade, Cooperative and Consumerism, pursuant to a Trade Description Order.
